Sometimes you don’t feel like writing

Don’t feel like writing these days.
Don’t feel much of anything in this maze.
Why is that, you ask?
I cannot complete the task.

Don’t really know.
The words just don’t flow.
I know it usually makes me feel better.
Just to even write a letter.

I do get up early and listen to the birds
But, I can’t even scribble a few lousy words.
That is exactly why I must keep going
I must write until the words start flowing.

So, if this does not make sense,
It is probably because I am too tense.
The blank page I cannot face,
I will continue to search for my place.
