Much to deal with

Have not been here for awhile. My husband has been having health problems. I am trying to think positive and help him through this. They almost put him in the hospital today. Luckily, we were able to hold off. Not sure what tomorrow will bring. One thing we have learned since his illness is to live day-by-day, and to trust that we can handle the situations as they arise.

The Grand Scheme of Things

Does any of this really matter in the grand scheme of things?
Just what is the grand scheme of things anyhow?
Does anyone know? Is it a scheme, a conspiracy, a ploy, a ruse?
How does this grand scheme of things affect the way things are?
How does the way things are affect the grand scheme of things?
Do the two ever converge?

A few observations on my part….
There is much time on this earth ahead of me.
Someday will come the day when nothing lies ahead and it all lies behind me.
Some may fear this day and time, I do not.
I do hope to look back and find it has been time well spent.

There is one grand scheme of things I know to be true.
Without it, life loses meaning.
Without it, life has no order.
No need to look for a lesser grand scheme of things.
Doing so will only provide disorder, disarray, and division.

A lesser grand scheme of things is merely a grand scam?
It is certainly vague, irrelevant, and ambiguous,
Allows drifting along with no direction and no redemption.
When we are at peace with the grand scheme of things,
Then we are at peace with our world.
