So....this is boring...not much to say.

It is so strange to think of all the things little boys once did
Run through the woods
Fishing in the stream.
Play with a home made wooden toy
Wish on a star
Daydreaming.
Carve his initials in the big oak tree
Catching fireflies
Hide n Seek
Riding bikes to the lake
Catch that snake
Scare your sister!
Picking blueberries
Playing in the school yard
Saying bedside prayers

Suddenly, the years seem to slip by.
No longer are the days so carefree
All grown up now, can't cry.
Many things on his mind, stiff knee
The body begins to falter
Yet much fun still exists
Watch the grandsons
Reminds him of his youth
Yes, he is still that young boy at heart.

Much to deal with

Have not been here for awhile. My husband has been having health problems. I am trying to think positive and help him through this. They almost put him in the hospital today. Luckily, we were able to hold off. Not sure what tomorrow will bring. One thing we have learned since his illness is to live day-by-day, and to trust that we can handle the situations as they arise.
